Ya i saw these a while back, did some searching and found some info on em. its a cd deck....if you couldnt tell that from looking at it, The platter is direct drive, It also plays digital media, and it is going to retail in japan for $3000.

Their building it to compete with the pioneer cdj-1000's....obviously.

oh and what the hell is wrong with cd decks? I spin vinyl.....always have but its nice to have at least one cd deck at a gig so you can play those tracks that havnt been or wont be released. I dont know about you guys but there are HUNDREDS of killer tracks ill never see on vinyl.....tracks i would definatly play if there was a cd deck around.

the idea of playing dubs and unreleased is awesome, although do u think if the producers/imprints good word of you playing there unreleased shit they would get mad?.... Because last night one guy on soulseek was downloading "tech itch - the green" a current dubplate, then after it was downloaded told the guy that he was reporting him to his isp... and sure enough someone from tech itch's label in UK sent his isp an email saying that this kid was supplying copyrighted music.. kinda crazy...

^well, that's a whole other discussion right there :smoke1: i definitely DON'T condone playing unreleased material unless you have permission from the artist or label.

what about all those track you will never get on vinyl. Thats the shit i like to play. I would love to pay for the record but some of that stuff will never be released again......please tell me you get what im saying.

^of course. if it's released and you can't find it on wax, go nuts. Just don't download new tracks & play them out before they're on vinyl without permission. that's my stance anyways...
