It just sounds like the guy dosn't know how to use a Mac properly. He must be new on one.

I havent had any problems for the past year, let alone one crash on the studio dual 1gz mirror door g4.

Soooo... Stability is the one thing Mac has over PC. The only thing :).

^^ PEBCAK* goes both ways. a Win2K install done right and used right can easily rival a Mac for long term uptime.

i use macs all the time at school and really i prefer to use a mac instead of a PC for audio.
