Kosheen

I remember when I first started partying I always heard Suicide & Hide U. Man, i loved both of these tracks. Even though many dnb heads have disowned Kosheen for "selling out" I still love these 2 tracks.

Suicide would get all the crazy junglists dancing and Hide U would get everyone singing along.

the koma & bones remix of hide u is top notch!!

i fuckin looooved suicide too, but it did get super outplayed. Listening to it now after a long span I don't even like it close to as much as before. Still a good track though

their new stuff isn't dnb.... looks like they're trying to cross over to the trance/prog house audience. i guess they already have a lot of remixes in that style, but their own mix of 'all in my head' is dubby prog house... not what you'd expect from Decoder & Substance, but pretty well done....

i rmemeber suddenly hearing suicide at apex and it made my night a lot better.. its one of those tracks where its nice to suddenly hear and it triggers good ol memories. i love kosheen's voice.. i watched a few live performances on bpm and the girl is a natural performer.

hey you gotta make money somehow right? at least they didn't make trance ; )

I really wish they'd come out here... i was talking with promoters in Seattle to bring them out about 2yrs ago, but they ended up having to cancle a bunch of tour dates the month we wanted to bring them out... Merrrrr.... oh well.

It kinda sucks in a way that Vancouver is so small, we just don't have the finds to bring out big names like that...
When raves were really big, the days i like to call "plaza dealing days" (back in the day of buying 40plaza tickets @ 35$ and selling them at the door for 95$ a pop!) we could get big names out and totally not loose money... now... not so much... it's even getting hard for smaller production companies to break even (mainly cause everyone and his dj friend were throwing parties) there's just too main companies and not enough ravers...

k... i tend to rant... mehhh...

but yes. kosheen.
I've heard some really good remixes of there stuff, if anything i think that that's what they sould really get into, just kinda writing for remixes... the radio can have their sappy bs stuff and then they can just hand a copy over to some rad dnb producers! : )
