I faintly remember Z playing "castles in the sky" which last time I checked was trance (although many would disagree, including me). Marty was reffering to crap like that, basically what people are labeling trance now a days.

Actually the reason no one plays trance is because a majority of serious dj's have moved on to different styles of music and aren't confining themselves to one genre (which is a good thing). You actually missed the whole raves are gay thing by a few years; if anything they are more widely accepted than they ever were, and that right there is one of the problems facing the so called "SCENE".

but the same old stuff that corsten, cosmic gate, talla 2xlc plays.

in every mix this year you will hear the same song over and over again.. mixed with another song you've heard atleast 15 times this year.

im not saying they're bad songs.. they just turn into awful stinky toilet music when you hear it a million times. (just like any song, not just electronic)

If you're going to play a good trance set.. play a variation of old stuff and new stuff.

When was the last dj that put Ayla... into his/her set?


The last mix I heard was Geri Halliwell - Mix mag cd

He threw on Legend B - Lost in love.. A really good hard trance mix of it. I almost shat my pants, I havent heard that song for a long time.
