Who wants to recommend some good music?
I'm open to any kind of music..if you think it ROCKS and that I should really listen to it, then post here.
Bands, songs...whatever. Doesn't have to be electronic either. I just need some new tunage to listen to since all I've been listening to for the last little while has been breaks (so don't bother recommending breaks) :soak: Peace Emmanuel |

some new music for ya..
erick morillo - subliminal sessions 5: two months old.. erick covers all sorts of musical ground. funky house, tech house, acid house.. some pretty freaky stuff on these two discs. i normally don't like morillo but i do like this one. very NYC jay j + miguel migs - In the house: 2xCD mix of groovey san francisco sounds.. smooth deep and funky house. the jay j disc is my favourite. the kind of stuff that 18 hour dance marathons are made of dave clarke - devil's advocate: an artist album by clarke, released yesterday. pretty cool! lots of upbeat electro/technoclash and some more typically techy sounds. and he even delves into hiphop sander kleinenberg- Everybody: a highly anticipated double album. funk and electro-fused progressive. some really weird and unusual tracks on this one. relatively low on the prog "cheese" factor. probably a good disc for people that think they don't like prog. two weeks old in the UK.. TBC elsewhere Derrick Carter - Nearest hits and greatest misses: a selection of carter's obscure favourites.. a fun listen.. good for those who are constantly thinking "huh? what the fuck is that?!" when they see him play out. includes remixes of human league's don't you want me and blair's life. out last month Last edited by QuanNeur; Nov 05, 03 at 01:08 AM. |

Man, I'd love to but I'd probably just end up listing my entire music collection. 400+ worth of albums may take up a bit too much space. :kam:
Off the top of my head...? Mmm... Banco de Gaia Del Tha Funkee Homosapien (Deltron, Hieroglyphics, Gorillaz, etc.) Oliver Lieb (L.S.G., Spicelab, etc.) Peter Benisch (FPU) Tom Middleton (DJ mixes) Tiga (DJ mixes) Pink Floyd (the Roger Waters years) Erol Alkan (DJ mixes) Fritch & Hastik (Komakino, Final Fantasy, Influx, Sunbeam, etc.) The KLF (The Jams, Timelords, etc.) Jam el Mar (Jam & Spoon, Dance 2 Trance, B.G. The Prince Of Rap :c-tard: ) The Beach Boys ('specially Pet Sounds!) Wu-Tang Clan Groove Corporation Grooverider Uberzone Tears For Fears Heh... told ya' it'd get tedious. Dunno if you recognize many names here. Some are quite well known. Some are quite underground. Guess this is just a small grab bag of what gets regular rotation in my players. :smoke1: Last edited by Sykonee; Nov 05, 03 at 03:14 AM. |
