word on the street is that Prime Distribution is officially bankrupt.

I guess signing Mauro Picotto to a 3 record deal on Primate was a last desperate attempt from Prime to capture a new mainstream market...

someone told me that Prime also had a rock indy label but that never got shut down. But i guess Prime's bankruptcy change the landscape of the distribution industry and give way to new and younger generation of musicians and entrepreneurs. Watch out for Neuton, they are probably welcoming this with open arms.

But you are totally right, Prime handled some of the SICKEST techno and tech house music that was ever released.
