2) The guy at the O-zone...oh god make it stop. He'd have like 3 beats going until finally everyone just kinda gave up dancing and looked at him blanky. pEace, Josh |

akeel.. u almost had me... i was like wtf! then i saw the :kam: and i realized what was goin on :P its funny how so many ppl can be fooled by it :P and about the shitty dj's. my vote goes to scott. some of you may know him, i partied with him for quite a while. i swear, he didnt know what pitch was, and he could never tell if he trainwrecked. he played with the knobs as if he knew what he was doing, but he never did. to this day, he still asks me what the cue/pgm knob does. hes been mixing for a year and a half. |

my old room-mate Chris was the worst DJ I've ever heard... yet when he asked me to teach him how to mix properly, and I gave him pointers, he would yell at me and then say "that's not how I learn, by having you point out what I'm doing wrong! just let me practice!" and then he'd go on for another hour mixing trance with prog and Florida breaks and NOT beatmatching a single track... he was another knob-wrangler who pretended he knew what he was doing, when in actuality everyone but him knew he sucked monkey nuts... wtf is with these people who can't TELL when they're trainwrecking??? here's a HINT if it sounds like shoes in a drier, it's not beatmatched :finger:
LoL and the worst DJ I ever saw play out was prolly at Club 23... this dude was mixing bad 80's music with heavy metal and bad r&b... then he went on for about half an hour with this simple beat loop with him using a bad synth loop record to make his own track... *shudder* |
