Line in recording

I got two sound cards

One is for computer use

the other one is 5.1 for my music/tv/video games/djing speakers

Im looking for a sturdy program that when i switch to my 5.1 sound card in the settings wont keep on reading my other card.

I right now use audio grabber

can anyone reccomend a good program for me.

Also, i can only play my speakers on the microphone jack. But All i want to do is record mixes and I can master the mixes with other programs.

I think you should just get rid of the generic one, but if your too lazy. :toasted:

Soundforge allows you to select which soundcard you want to do playback on. And u can do all the editing in sf as well.

I just used wavelab to do it

and used audiograbber to convert the wav's into mp3's.
