Didnt really like it at first, but Im really startin to dig it... One of the better songs on their new CD(which Im also starting to like more and more, the more I listen to it). It´s really got a sick beat to it during the last half of the song.
As for the Jaxx being overrated...? Bullshit. They´re definately one of the best production teams out in dance music (one of the few that produce original music). I mean if u dont like em, fine, but they´re definately not overrated.

i used to think basement jazz sucked because they were being marketed into the top 40s scene...and so i though they were cheesy....but listen to their esenssial mixes from radio one i think...theyre pimp....basement jaxx has wicked track selection and cool f'in mixes.....totally underrated.

Most of the house tracks that i get every week are better then 90% of the stuff that they've done, and no one has ever heard of them. maybe as dj's or live perfomers they're great, but they're productions are defnitely on the cheesy side of things. original or not. go electric circus!

i'm with the wiggly one.. basement jaxx are definately over-rated. kish kash is another weak album in a long history of them. a lot of this new album is just a noisy mess. i get they feeling that they're just throwing as much crap together as they can and just hoping it works. yuck.
seeing the jaxx play out a few years ago was seriously one of the worst shows i've ever seen.. a complete bore. as for their "classics," they're all basically just hackneyed pop house. what's special about them? nothing. utterly forgettable
