i felt an urge to hear some of his stuff last nite... but i didn't get around to downloading anything until tonite...
so right now i'm listening to 9 or 10 of his tracks... boy does it take me back... grade 8 or 9 for me, children came out... talk about inspiration. it started a musical revolution in my ears... and so my life went from grunge'y wigger to spiritual gay boy... his songs put me at ease. not a depressing ease. it's a satisfied, feel good about my life sucking kind of ease... i'm not sure where to clasify his music... i think of it like this... there's pop-rock, which is pretty much wussy rock, made for pepsi commercials or whatever... now if u mixed pop with another genre, say trance... you'd get robert miles... that's my opinion... pop-trance... i don't like the sound of where that genre would go these days... it's blissful to my ears... this is the kind of music i can close my eyes to, and a story will play before my eyes... it's almost like i have an imagination for once... very powerful music to me... brings out my best, in my opinion... i remember when this girl lived in the apartment above mine, we would hang out at the latest hours, even on weekdays, just cuz we were insomniac computer freaks... when we were together though, we never touched our computers... we just sat on each other's balcony and listened to this stuff... we'd always fall asleep on the balcony, wake up in the snow every now and then... morons, we were... it's so hard to find a girl with the same kind of passion as me these days... meh... 2 more weeks being single and i'll probably start smoking again... thanks alot snyx, u got me itchin' for smokes... *sigh*
