anyone ordering from them this weekend? theres only a few records on there i want and apparantly the new rule is 30 USD minimium, so 4 records.. I don't want 4 records. bunch of scamming bastards... Anyways.. anyone ordering from them any time quick? I'll pay for half shipping werd Ken

dancerecords is ok.. ive ordered from them once and its cool because you can get a tracking# for your shipment

dancerecords is a sweet fuckin site.
they give good descriptions of the songs so you end up picking up stuff you wouldnt have gotten otherwise. shipping takes 3 days! they're a little behind everyone else in release dates, but its cheap so i dont care. juno on there other hand takes a week to get here, its in pounds so its hella expensive, and they dont give descriptions of records. plus they only release new records once a week, while dance records has 2 updates. i ordered 6 records from juno last week, and they charged me 20 fuckin pounds for shipping!

oh yah....plus because juno is overseas, if you're shipping more then one record you usually get customs charges as well :finger:

3 obvious reasons 1. Back Catalogue / Restocks Best site on the earth. Updated every day. 2. Release Dates They are right on top of things. Even ahead in some cases. 3. Record Cost / Shipping / Customs 5.50 on average per record 12.35 Canadian 9.99 per record @ dancerecords.com 13.03 Canadian i just ordered 7 tunes from juno Net Total 35.46 Shipping/Packaging 15.60 Grand Total 51.60 = 115.89 Canadian 7 records on dancerecords Net Total 69.93 Shipping/Packaging 13.13 Grand Total 83.06= 108.35 Canadian With record cost and shipping they're about the same. With Juno my records are usually here within 4 days. And if customs take it they don't fuck it up. Those american customs always seem to fuck things up. Maybe bad luck but the last time i ordered from dancerecords it took 11 days. I've had juno orders come thru without any customs and w/ dancerecords hnd my fair share for paying. The records are sent overseas thus higher shipping costs. The customs will be cheaper with juno as you paid less for the records. Meh its all the same really. For me it comes really down to the selection. How many people remove items from their cart b/c the record is a few more bucks. If its a good tune.. it don't matter.
