Original Funk
The producers from the 70's and 80's were fricken amazing... Even in listening to The Beat today (old skool Sunday's) and all the old skool funk they were playing.
Lately I have been adding a lot of oldies to my record collection as well... here's what I added the other day: Chic - Le Freak Chaka Khan - I Feel For You Cheryl Lynn - Got To Be Real -- I got this one for free: Tony! Toni! Tone! - Feels Good |

sorry dave, but sugarhill was a fuck of a lot more then rappers delight.
8th wonder apache sugarhill groove. ultimate gone wild party songs. did you know about those? they were all the way funky. sure they were ripping off old songs. rhyming over "the break" of other tracks like good times. but, that was the essence of hip hop, and thats how it all started. afrika bambaataa completely ripped of trans europe express. grandmaster flash ripped of genius of love for "its nasty." everyone did it. doesnt mean its not still fuckin fantastic!
