I MISS YOU...music cd
Ok people I need a lil help here...I know the guy I'm speaking about doesn't come on here so this is the only safe place to post this so plllllllllllllease help
Here is your mission: Say you met the most wonderful person, spent an amazing month or so with them and you wanted to make a mix CD of songs for him/her to have because they are moving away from you what would you put on it? Ok yes I met someone...yes he is amazing and yes he's moving away :kimmie: Him and I will be driving to Quebec next week and I'm not sure when I'll be back (not that I'd be missed around here as most people don't know me anyway lol) I want to make a CD and give it to him while we are on the road....I'm going to put songs that remind me of him, songs that had meanings while we were together but I'd love for some more ideas. So if you were in my situation which songs would you put on the cd? thanks everyone!!!! I miss parties :( I'll hit up an east coast one though...anyone know where I can get info on some for Toronto and Montreal? |

....but on a more serious note make a compilation of all the songs that play in the romantic parts of movies.
Or the Titanic theme song, everyone knows that one. song I reccomend: Build Me Up Buttercup - The Foundations. Make a CD with all the oldies love songs, I think he'll appreciate the CD either way, I think its a cute idea. Im sure he'll love it. |

Personally, I can't tell you what songs to put on, mainly because I'm not sure what his musical tastes are. However, a couple of things to consider (which you may know anyways but 'tis always good for common knowledge ;)):
There should definitely be tracks that were being played when the two of you started feeling good about each other. Though cheesy as it may sound, a couple's song(s) will always take them back to those first, puppy-love days. Also, perhaps throw in a few unexpected tracks in a style of music that he enjoys but doesn't have (or even neccessarily know of, for that matter). It can be quite the intimate gesture on your part. |

If you're gonna put on songs that remind you of him you really shouldn't be asking for help... I made one of these for my gf and I spent hours picking out songs that made me think of her.
I guess if you want some picks that bring out the super-cheesey love-a-thon though these are a few of what I picked for my specila someone: Brandy - Have You Ever Lonestar - Amazed Amanda Marshall - Dark Horse Bryan Adams - Heaven Anyways... if you really ant to make somehting that means anything you really have to sit down and think of what songs make you think of him. All your memories, good times... etc. They don't have to be love songs either.... it could be a song that you know he loves and when you hear it you can't help but smile. Good Luck!! |
