if it has spit cue then it will play the master level in one ear and the cue level in the other ear, but generaly if it has a master/cue nob, it will either play the master in both sides, or the cue in both sides, but not the right turntable sound in the right ear head phone and the left side the same with the left deck... its going to be all or nothing, cue or master...
it will have nothing to do with your cross fader... your cross fader will break eventually (it will wear out) you will know when the cue bleeds out into you main out, or if it gets all scratchy and yuckie sounding |

stanton decks suck ass
worse torque ever all mixers should have a cue/headphone volume knob and a switch on each channel for listening to the record on your headphones.. if you're too retarded to find it.. i suggest you pack up your decks, go to wherever your gf bought the tt's and say "I AM TOO STUPID TO USE THESE MACHINES" |

if its the SK2 it has a small toggle to select between Cue and master program, as well as a fader to cue and practice your mix in your headphones. or if u want to just mix in your headphones just put it on master and use the real fader to do it.
when your fader starts to bleed find yourself some 3-in-1 Household oil. its the best lube out there if u can find it that is .. i had a bottle and i lost it. I've had my SK2 since it came out 5yrs ago. its the first model that supported the Focus fader. and i havent sprayed or used any lube on the fader. and I'm a scratch DJ so i abuse that shit like theres no tomorrow. the stanton turntables are not so good. but the mixers are great. |
