what do u gear heads think about the digi 002, are there any disadvantages with using a firewire interface instead of PCI ?

i have one......fire wire is the only way to go. the 002r ia a mother of a audio interface......the prees on it are a bit cold so i would suggest going through a better preamp beforee the0 signal reaches the 002. trackmaster platniumseries work well and0 presonus has a nice little pre on the market as well
