Hipnotik is closing down

if u havent already heard, hipnotik is closing down at the end of JANUARY, after 3 years in business, we have decided to close down the store front but will continue to run our online site.

Until the 31st of january we will be having liquidation sales , on everything in store, records will be selling below cost ( around 1500 titles if not more) and clothing is also been marked to sell, so please come down and get some cheap ass shit.

we will also be selling our fixtures including record bins, so if anyone is interested in a very nice way to hold and sort youre records please pm me

We would like to thank everyone that has supported us in the past 3 years, including fnk which was starting out around the same time, we are proud to say that we were one of the sites first sponsors and also sold fnk brand clothing.

as far as the online site is concerned, it will be running in march and will be based out of coquitlam, it will still allow our existing and new customers to order online and to have there packages shipped, we will also have the option of picking up orders instead. And since our overhead will be alomost non existent, prices will be alot lower (around the same price shipped to youre house that it was in store)and increased selection in all forms of electronica. as well as other types of music such as funk, rock, punk, hiphop and old school classics.

We are also in the works of putting together one last huge bash in store, we will be announcing plans within the week.

p.s if any promoters are intersted, theres a skate store called identity which is willing to sell RAVE tickets, and they are located 2 doors up form the columbia skytrain.

It's been a long road guys. It's bang on for the history behind fnk & hipnotik as we did cross paths early in the game. I remember walking in and talking to you about stickers, clothes and discounts on vinyl. When I lived in New West I shopped quite often and you guys had a cozy little setup there. The graff on the wall was cool and layout was sweet. I even got to hear a lot of tracks out loud which i liked. I'm glad you guys will still have presence in Vancouver via the website and I certainly wish you guys all the best with the wax business. We've always been supportive of the store and will continue to help any way we can with the online shop.
