If you plan to do some post production, Pro Tools is the way to go. Or you could learn to use Logic and do the post in Logic. What kind of music do you plan to produce? `t1m |

Not really planning on producing anything serious.
I would just love a way to get the beats that get stuck in my head down. I had a FREE copy once already, but didnt bother to download the Manual, so i had no clue what i was doing beyond the drum machine. How did you learn? With the manual, or just pissing around until you figured it out? |

scareface, a manuel or video tutorial is a good place to start to understand what certain buttons and screens do. then after u understand the basics of what does what, msgboards like futureproducers.com help for all types of things and music and questions about hardware setups and stuff and production questions, and www.dogsonacid.com , goto the GRID messageboard to ask how to get those certain sounds for DNB, once u get the practice in u should be able to start producing something uniquely yours...

oh haha, that was a typo, i never reread anything i type...i've read basic production things and stuff, and slowly understanding how cubase works, not produced anything worthwhile yet... i dont practice much cuz everytime i try to apply some plugins or vst's my computer slows down to a crawl... also i only got like 100mb left on my harddrive, makes it hard to get alot of samples.. one day i'll get a new computer and really get serious with it , heh i got some text files and stuff u can read if u want...
