Goldie
well goldie (the drum and bass producer not the lady singer) pretty much started this whole electronic/rave thing for me when i listened to his track "inner city life" back when i was 13. That track was so awesome it made such an impression on me. He also created the the metalheadz record label which as you can tell by looking at my avatar is my favourite drum and bass record label.
anyway i was just listenign to a bunch of his tracks from awhile ago and i relized how much i love this guy's music that i was compeeled to make a post about it on fnk. anyway remember when he played in vancouver like a year and half ago? and he mixed the epic remix of up all night with timeless? fuck i almost shat myself. hahaha

yeah hearing inner city life definitely perked my ears up to a genre i'd thus far been pretty un-interested in... i was into hiphop and soul music at the time and figured i'd outgrown 'rave' music... little did i know...
never thought i'd live to see the man who produced it spit up chunks of chewed donut on the floor of a hotel lobby.
