shure whitelabels
alright, who's got em and how do they compare to the m44-7's. i got a pair of 44-7's and they sound great for spinning DNB and of course hold up awesome for scratching... but i wanna get Whitelabels cuz i find myself mixing more lately then scratching, and i want the less wear and tear on records that the Whitelabels provide... my question is how is the sound quality of the whitelabels vs m44-7's, especially in the low end....

I can't compare them to the m44-7's cause I've never used them, but I got a pair of Whitelabels and all I can say is that they're awesome and I don't have any complaints. They seldom ever skip out of the groove, and you don't have to put much weight on the tone-arm to get them to stick, so not as much record wear. They're expensive though, and I'm not sure how they compare with the Nightclubs, I've never used those either. But I would reccomend them.

actually i think the whitelabels have more wear and tear on the record than the m44-7.. probably like a miniscule difference, but its there
but since you're gonna be focused more towards mixing than scratching you should probably go with the whitelabels.. the sound output is supposedly much better than the m44s |

^^ really? thats weird, cuz its advertised as supposedly having less wear and tear...i got 2 pairs of m44-7's anyways.. think im gonna sell a pair and get a pair of whitelabels to have best of both worlds :)... and u have to admit, they do look pretty dope heh...
JP... feb 7th for a week... we shall get loaded/lifted and spin records... |

i would keep your 44-7's.
i have 3 whitelabels and 2 44-7's and hands down the 44-7 kick the crap out of the whitelables in stability. soundwise they are very close, but i do think the whitelabels are a little crisper, but the 44-7's are punchier. With 44-7's you can pretty much just throw them on any setup and go, whereas with whitelabels, if you don't have the deck setup just right, they jump around a bunch. I dunno man, i had the whitelabels first and i had to get some 44-7's coz i was so frustrated trying to get hands-on with the vinyl. |

go for neither, the M44-G is where it's at, hands down, my buddy Jeff has a pair and in my experience they sound better than the M44-7 and track better than the White Label, therefore making the M44-G the best of both worlds
don't be a fool, stay in school... M44-G school, that is |

you may be talking about the M35X which is basically the whitelabel but in the standard headshell mount form. |

if you are going to spend the money look into ortofon!!!
good clean sound and all... less wear... without the hastle of fucking with the setup!!! you can put an n44g into an m447, i dont remember the result of weather it sounds like an m447 with trackin of the m44g or if it just turned into an m44g??? i forget but they are compatible |
