Latyrix were bomb ass, what happened to those guys? I bought a New Flesh For Old record a couple of years back with Lyrics Born guesting on it... but since then i've heard nothing. Lady Don't Tek No & their LP came out like 6-7 years ago!@!

Lyrics Born has a new(ish) album out called "Later That Day" released in September. He came to Vancouver this summer on tour promoting it... and it twas an excellent show. Lateef The Truth Speaker is featured on the album (along with Gift Of Gab, Cut Chemist and others).

I dunno if Lateef has done any stuff on his own but he has been on tour with Blackalicious both times I've seen them in Vancouver (@ the 604 Hip Hop Expo last Summer and @ UBC in September) and is featured on Both of Blackalicious' albums.

One a side note: Gift Of Gab just released an album called "Fourth Dimensional Rocketships Going Up" that I'm listening to right now and its definitely on par with the rest of his stuff.

the only way you can get that on vinyl these days is on solesides greatest bumps, and you'll be putting out 35 bux for it on ebay or beatstreet.
the won that z trip had in the movie is impossible to find.

shadow did produce the track.
lyrics born is also a dope producer. check out calling out.
