Digital downloads...

Hooj Choons has now launched mp3 downloads and joins the growing list of record labels adopting this new on-line record service. Kismet Records has been running this digital download scheme for some time already and has reported significant success. The mp3's can cost as little as 90 pence each and can be burnt onto CDs for DJing purposes. Is this the future of DJ record shopping?

Looks interesting, lots of tracks are 1 pound or about $2.40 Cdn which is a little expensive. I might buy if the mp3 quality is excellent. As an alternative to buying an entire CD just to get a small number of tracks.

Although stealing will always be cheaper than buying.

The internet is such an efficient way of distributing digital stuff, this type of thing has got to take off eventually.
