Rereleasing old classics.
i just checked airwave's web site (aka the green martian, cloud 69 and numerous others)
the classic 69 ways is being rereleased on the bozai backlabel! the first rerelease was the amazing sunrise at palamos. being a dj who never owned either of these tracks im pumped. but it seems like bonzai is following positiva's bad example. ill love the records but hate the wider availablility. i have some rare old records that no one should have. limited edition means just that. use a cd if u really want a song |

Everyone seemed to have been followed it back in 2003. Some of the rereleases are good and some of them should be left alone. Universal Nation 2003 was absolute wank. They are definately in for some cash. Although I liked Seven Days One Week, it might be also a good opportunity to get remixed by today's biggest producers.

Sharaz's label has released a collection of some of its classics. I'm not really sure what to think of it. I love having a record that is rare, but also love getting on a copy of a track that I couldn't get before.

I have the original pressing of Cloud 69 and Sunrise At Palamos. Not too choked about the MIKE getting re-released, but my original Cloud 69 cost me over $100. Same thing happened to me with the Ayu- M ep. Heheh oh well... :tounge1: |
