^Yea Tom Lee is great or so I've heard. I play the piano by ear & had a lesson once which went right over my head...hehe, I wish I could read em cause I also want to learn notes & master them :kimmie:

I've had private lessons from two well-respected teachers... one japanese.. Ms. Sheppard (sp?) Probably around 40$ an hour. She's very good, but I hated her cause she slapped me on the head when I didn't play properly :(
After developing a strong hatred for ms Shepperd, (although she's very good) I switched to another good teacher, Ms Fraser...(who never hit me on the head :) ) she was amazing, but she has arthritis in her hands and she can't really play back the music for you properly.. but she's a good teacher.. If you want the numbers to either of the two teachers, i'll be glad to pm them to you. But keep in mind that private piano lessons are going to cost you quite a bit. |
