well when i'm suiting up to rave, i listen to Deadly Avenger - We Took Pelham ... cuz it has that superhero quality to it, gets me stoked...
then some HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YA and a lot of flailing to get the blood flowing and to get me out of the house... and then something i can scream along to in the car-ride to the party... like some offspring or cheezy late '90s top 40 music... |

Depends on the event...
-Club: Either electro house or Haddaway's "What Is Love" Still the ultimate club track! :tounge1: -Outdoor: Either Banco de Gaia or Eat Static Get's me into that hippie mood. -Rave: Normally something I figure I won't hear at said rave ('though I've been pleasently surprised on numerous occasions): Pre-'98 trance Goa Deep house Hip hop Aphex Twin-y stuff Global grooves (Six Degrees and Quango Records styled music) Prog rock -Afterparty: Ambient dub Soothing and spliffed out. :smoke1: |

it's kind of silly, but when i'm going out on saturday night i like to throw on joey negro's remix of norma jean bell's saturday. i dim the lights, turn on the pin spot and scream along the lyrics as i dance under the mirrorball. yay.
"been on my feet, working all week now! i just can't wait for saturday.." |
