All Night DnB Party

Damn I miss some good all night dnb parties

Who else loves parties with full on dnb all night?

I thought this was a thread ABOUT an all night drum and bass party. (thanks for getting my hopes up)

As far as being to a drum and bass only party : I've been to one , it was in 2000, and it was called

"Theocracy, a civilization of jungle and hardhouse"


Pretty weird vibe going on with drum and bass upstairs and hardhouse down...........but a good night .

I understand the financial downfalls of a drum and bass party, so I know it wouldnt happen, but it would be nice to have a Drum&bass Dj in the main room for a change.

it's definately a small venue, break even at best concept. but auto has been throwing the clash series for a while and every one ive been to has been sick. before that jlf and a bunch of people could do it semi regularily without killing interest.

if you can design your shit to break even at about 100-150 people you're set. pretty hard to bring in a headliner at that price unless you're sharing. if you promo the fuck out of it you may be able to get 200+ but id be worried about the crowd you attract.

yeah the crowd can get pretty sketchy sometimes i have agree with all these fucked up drugs some jungle kids are into.

and also the fact that lots of people rather not come out cuz of all these sketchy people

but regardless, you cant deny some dnb all night fuckin rules! haha last one i was at was usc, even though they had so many other people i would of wanted to see on other stages (christopher lawrence, dj dan, z trip) we stayed at the dnb stage ALL night and people there were begging for more till the very end

even at the old jlf event, the vibe was going on strong till the end.

fuck i miss those kinda parties

I've been under the impression many tekkers have finally given up the vice and have gone back to school. I sure hope so, its stupid that dnb has had such a negative image cuz of a few meth retards

if you advertise to the more club jungle scene in vancouver you lose the majority of the tekkers and just get drunks, which are easy to handle.

busting tekkers sure is fun. starsky and hutch style kicking down bathroom doors.

Its funny that the D&B scene here attracts the tekkers........In edmonton , tekkers are generally unaccepted at the parties.......most jibteks end up at the afterhours , doing endless nordictrax to hardhouse , progressive etc.

The drum and bass scene there attracts more of the pothead/drinker crowd.

im really feelin that Silver & gridlok track - pacemaker , forthcomin on Project51 with shallow by gridlok on the flip
