i love the way dre drops the beats so heavy, gangsta and filled with all that attitude
on the chronic, when it goes from lyrical gangbang, to high powered, to the skit to stranded on death row... and topped of with "make mah butt the chronic! i gotsta get fucked up!" hahaha just brilliant |

Dr. Dre is probably the greatest figure in rap of all time. Anything he is associated with turns straight gold. He has produced tracks for so many rap artists including NWA, Snoop, Warren G, Kurupt, Tha Dogg Pound, Ice Cube, Eminem, 50 cent, G-Unit.
He combines the sounds of funk with his own gangster twist. I think one of the keys to his success is his use of live sampling for his tracks. I heard somewhere he samples an entire orchestra for his beats. Dr. Dre is DA MANG |
