old records

i just found a stack of old classical records, all in good condition.. this is dope.. so much variety of instruments. vary talented.. lotsa beetoven, operas, russian rhopsody, and this one record that says flight of the bumble bee, and i remember hearing that maybe in an old loony tunes skit.. i used to love the old cartoon skits they did with classical music...

one record thats really dope is charlie mariano - helen 12 trees
its from 1976, and they use all types of stuff, flute, moog synthesizer, guitars, drums, violin, flute, electric piano, and its all jazzy and funk, one song sounds like a porno funk track.. this record is dope...

what other old records have u guys found in basements?

Séguin will become famous soon enough
Not in basements, but @ a store in Ottawa called ABM, I found alot of what were called "Sound Library" records... they were old records from television studios used for back ground music... I picked up a stack of them before I left. I've got all kinds of various moods/styles of music with them.

decypher, it sounds like you would really enjoy a course in 20th-century art music. Take a listen to Stockhausen, Varese, and Ligeti to start.
