RANK 1 - Unreleased Tracks from Symsonic (ID&T) (12")
I am really enjoying this disk, consisting of Conspiracy, Cosmomatic and Down from the Deep. I recognize Cosmomatic and Down from the Deep from Rank 1's 2001 live show but the other has not been played out much. These are all solid tracks, with Conspiracy definately being the big track. Very Trancy and uplifting, but more like Awakening then Airwave in it's complexity. Cosmomatic is a good fusion of trance and a techno beat, and the trance is very obviously made differently than your typical rank 1 track. This is my personal favorite. The last one is more dark trance, with some deep sounds reminiscent of some Mauro Picotto basslines. takes a while to get going, but in the right set this track is great. All and all, this will be one of the sleeper records of the year because no one can get a hold of it and it isn't being played by many people.
