I get the same way with old and cheesy speedgarage!

Nothing like dancing around the house alone to some 187 lockdown. Yeah! I admit it!

i've never been particularly fond of uk hard house and i'll admit i've even been guilty of bashing it based on that whole tidy trax/nukleuz sound that was once so ubiquitous and irritatingly uninspired.... but recently i've been exploring early hard house and really enjoying it. there was a period around 1995 - 97 during which it was quite common to hear techno and tech house mixed with hard house.. this stuff is just wild. stuff like you hear from Malcolm Duffy and Steve Thomas and even some tony de vit.. this is pre-hoover hard house and it's set to at tempo around 135 - 140bpm.. the sound is typically quite silly and not so concerned with trying to be edgy and "hard." unfortunately it's a bit difficult to track down, mostly un-p2p-able, but if you get on ebay then you can pick up some old Trade albums that won't let you down.

Séguin will become famous soon enough
Stringbeans: I play alot of older UK HardHouse. I've got alot of "classic" tracks too.

Franklin: Your right, it's not played at parties anymore. But "Hard House" is still put on the flyers though.

Stacy: That's Gabber on the wrong speed :P
