besides that fact that everyone, their dog, and their momma is a dj - dj's especially should realize that ripping vinyl, stealing a track you didnt buy, then playing it on mp3, will kill the already fragile vinyl industry since you're taking money from people that barely make any in the first place.

pirate all the original top 40 garbage all you want..they have enough money :P but small independent labels rely on their sales to keep their head above water to keep releasing tracks. Being part of a record label i know i would flip if i saw one of our vinyl releases makin the rounds on mp3 (i dont even wanna think about seeing krusha go off if that happened).

PS: all the cd's mp3s i play have been given to me through the right channels :)

cdj's are only for tracks you cant find on vinyl, also for the "just cant wait to be pressed on to vinyl" tracks and exclusive tracks that are soo hot that they must me played at a party... thats my personal rule...others should consider it too
