actualt, the drum lines kinds remind me of marching bands. Only cause the kick, snare, and hats are usually all in alingment with eachother

It's commonly referred to these days as "Chicago Hard House" to differentiate between it and the UK stuff, that I find (thanks Ishkurblah blah blah) neither hard nor housey.

Oddmud used to do an occasional Chicago Hard House set.

And as for Hardcore DJs, I dunno if Nucleus is still kicking around or not but he spins some pretty good Hard stuff. The other major Hardcore DJ in town is no longer in town... moved to Winnipeg, which is basically Canada's Rotterdam.

*sigh* House of X. Now that was awesome....

Chicago hard house kicks ass :) I have always luved it..Wish there was someone who spun it around here..DJ Ryle spins it in Seattle ..Maybe someone should bring him down here :)

Well looks like Ryle will be here on june 25th for the twisted party...I hope he plays some of the bangin hard house sets I have heard him play in the past..Not exactly the hardest of the chicago hard djs but I approve:)
