Best of Northern Soul/motown music

I'm currently compling a big CD full of classic Northern Soul/Motown music

So far I've got some Marvin Gaye, The Detroit Emeralds, Denise LaSalle, The Fascinations, Maxine Browne, The Invitations..and some more

however, this list doesn't do the genres very much justice...give me some good songs people!

if you haven't read "last night a dj saved my life" there is a ton of info on norther soul, the culture and the artists.

underground club culture was born in the uk with these funny records from america and is still one of my favorite sounds.
