i think timbaland is probably is one the most talented producers out there... just for the simple fact hes been able to adapt with the times. when you think about it, there really isnt that many producers in hiphop that are able to still be relevant and in-demand when they retire.

if he wouldnt have signed him, he wouldnt be around now his chronic 2000 album would have blown up and that would have been about it but he'd probably be back in the studio planning something else massive

without eminem i dont that the chronic would have sold as many units as it did. i bet you any amount of money that at least 1/3 of the people who bought that album got it for 'forgot about dre' which had eminem on it.
