First three tracks recorded!

Wooohoooooo!

It's only using the welfare WaveStudio that came with my sound card but what the shit... it's the first three tracks I have ever recorded... Hahahahahah...

I just finished installing Sound Forge... now to figure that out!

u mean recorded from turntable to wav file with your PC?

I use Cubase SX2 for all my recording and mastering when I make demo CDs.. it sounds doper than Elvis at a bar-b-q

Cool. Kraig if you look at the graph in WaveStudio you can get an idea if you are clipping.

Can't say I totally understand the Creative "Surround Mixer" program. I think the red REC fader on the right is the record level (don't know why it says "What U Hear"). While the 6 faders to the left of it are the individual input level controls.

If you mess around with the EAX console you can get some cool echo effects, I dunno if those effect the recording or if it's just for playback.

yea when i first got it, it was a bit confusing, but i just played around with it, and recorded radom mixs, and tried out all the effects, then eventually got the hang of it!

hey kraig, seeing as we live in the same apartment complex, if you have any questions about programs or need any more then just give me a call. I've got Logic 5.5, Soundforge 7.0, CoolEdit Pro, Kontakt, and about a hundred software samplers/synths/compressors/EQ's etc

who knows, maybe even write some breaks

I will keep you posted once I've had a chance to take a good look at Sound Forge.
