It's disco punk, not electro. Learn your fucking genres already.

And disco punk's been around for ages (though seeing a nice resurgence of late).

That all being said, the tune is niceness.

yeah, the whole electroklash/disco punk/new wave revival is nothing new, it's been building momentum for at least the past 3-4 years... it's influence has bled over into just about every other genre of dance music too.. house, breaks, dnb, trance.

personally i found that Prodigy tune kinda crappy, although i've never been a fan of theirs. Fischerspooner are great, but my favorites out of that scene are the likes of Tiefschwarz, Black Strobe & LCD Soundsystem.

Yeah, I would have thoughten by now that the whole thing would have died over, but it hasn't, it's totally sold to the 14-16 year olds Artizia crowd.

I don't think the music got any better, it just got more marketable and referbished. I just got a copy of the new Felix Da Housecat and it's similar to Le Tigre's lead singer/thrashy cacophony.
