I was just gonna write the Rev... I mean currently I don't have a res, but I mean about half way through the summer which is about half way through the comp i'll have my own club night, that's why I didn't join...

Kraig and Arpy, if you'd paid attention i havent been a resident for "shape" for quite some time. I'm too busy with other things to play weekly and they've taken on a new resident, Jay_double_U to fill my spot. All the new advertising and promotion reflects that.

Arpy, next time instead of calling me a liar, pm me.

I've read the rules and it states you cannot currently have a residency. I've emailed Heineken and there is no reason you cannot enter if you currently do not have one. Hence, Jesse James, Soma and a few others entering as well.

Yo Akeel... I didn't know you were no longer a resident at Shape. You have just always been associated with Team R3 and thus Shape and have been noted, granted in past, on flyers as a resident.

I deleted my original post but these are MY THOUGHTS. If ya have an issue with me I work at boomtown. Come and chat.

1. R3 is not shape. Shape is a clubnight. R3 are three people Haze, Mario and Akeel who wanted to do more than just promote parties but try to do shows etc to help the scene that they love.

2.Akeel entered this dj comp............and resigned as a resident during a meeting a long time ago.

3.Given that Akeel is not a res he is fully qualified to enter.

4.Akeel played the JDS show but not as a res of the night. In fact I think the residents are down to two Mario and myself and after this is all said and done, the night will be going through some major changes in format and the way we run it.

so with that all said and done I hope someone from Van wins. I hope they represent. And I hope people will pipe down.

this thing to me is so fricken funny!!! who really cares if akeel has a residency or not? If he does Heineken can disqualify him, if not then its all good... its not like any DJ in Van is a Ministry of Sound resident or Pasha or something like that...this made me laugh:)
