Road trip music?

I"m going on a road trip to penticton next week and want to make some good road trip cds to take with us.

I'm looking for punk, rock, classic rock, hip hop(only if you think I just HAVE To have it on the cd--because I've gotten quite a bit of stuff already from someone), house, speedgarage, breaks...ANYTHING you think would be a great road trip song! So just list some songs, and I'm sure I'll find them.

I've already got The Killers "Somebody Told Me" and a Will Ferrel version of "afternoon delight" on my list...

Thanks!

folk music is the best for road trips... neil young, gordon lightfoot, john denver, steven cats, or any hippie that played at Woodstock '69...

actually, there is a really good Gordon Lightfoot song that I want to get:). Thanks for reminding me!!

Life is a highway...that'll work for sure...And I'll just write it down here because it JUST came to me and I don't want to forget...That "space cowboy" song...

edit: I just searched and I couldn't find it. That classic tune that has the lyrics space cowboy in it? (I'm probably totally wrong). And "midnight joker" (I'm a smoker, I'm a toker, I'm a midnight joker..."? I'm so bad with song titles tonight...too tired.
