anyone uploaded video/music to cbc ZED?

I know of a number of people who have uploaded big files such as music mixes and video to Zed - http://zed.cbc.ca. That website is related to the late night CBC TV arts program ZED which should be starting again in the next few weeks.

I'm trying to upload a big file through the normal Zed way of doing things, a web page prompts you for your filename etc and then it does the upload, but extremely slowly.

Does anyone know if the upload can be done in the normal and efficient way most places do it, with ftp?
