I adored their Comfortably Numb cover, though it's not for everybody.

A buddy of mine saw them play at Creamfields this year. Said they blew. He then went on to find Felix Da Housecat, who apparently rocked the show.

There's some people who put out a good studio track, but I tend not to make godforms out of them until they show consistency.

Well, they are playing at Richard's tomorrow night. I'm tempted but I may be dragged elsewhere.

I've known of them for over a year, ever since their song Electrobix appeared on the Turbo Studio Sessions Vol. 3. It stuns me to see the way they blew up. Heck, exposure in Time Magazine, even.

hahahahahah! well said Eeb :-) I got the 12" last year (from the record pool) and totally hated it! I thought the mixes were cheesy at best, and the lyrics were off key!!! actually the whole thing sounded kinda off key... but everytime I played it at parties, the crowd loved it... like you said, not for everyone :0)

I found these guys (SS) to be hit and miss... we'll see if they survive past the first album. So far they have had a sold out show in Vancouver, and they are coming back again, and looks set to be another sold out show.

I guess we will have to play some of their suff @ our new Wednesdays at Lotus... hehehehehehe...
