X-PANSIONS...THE X-ECUTIONERS CHANGE LINE-UP

September 28, 2004, NEW YORK, NY

Grandmaster Roc Raida, a founding member of The X-Men, and DJ Total Eclipse, member since 1997, welcome virtuoso turntablists DJ Boogie Blind and DJ Precision to The X-ecutioners.

Boogie Blind from Harlem, NY, DJ for Pharoahe Monch and the 2000 Vestax DJ World Champion, is a childhood friend of GM Roc Raida. DJ Precision from Queens, NY, Allies Beatdown World Champion 2002, has previously appeared on tour with The X-ecutioners and is a protégé of Rob Swift. Both are current members of the NYC based DJ crew The Lo Lives.

After 7 years as an X-ecutioner, DJ Rob Swift departed the group to concentrate on his solo music projects. The split was amicable but immediate; Rob Swift will not be appearing with The X-ecutioners at any upcoming engagements promoting the group’s new album Revolutions (Summer 2004, Columbia Records).

With its latest members, The X-ecutioners now restructure as a four-man DJ band again for the first time since the departure of Mista Sinista. The group’s last appearance as a quartet was in 2000. The X-ecutioners new stage show will bring much anticipated excitement to the turntable genre.

altho roc raida is my fav of the bunch, rob swift was fucking amazing

Broken up? nah.

The way I see it is their last album was kindaaa whack..tracks with linkin park? c'mon

now they have boogie blind and precise, so maybe they'll be taking it back to the old sound, which might be rad!

I hear ya Myra. Xpressions (what was that... 97?) is an all time fav. What about Built from Scratch?? That was 02, recent enough, don't tell me you didn't like that album?!?

Linkin park collabos get a thumbs down, way down. (someone should tell that monkey boy mc in the group to stop.)

It'll be nice to bring back the 4 man structure for sure though... And Precision and Boogie Blind are supposed to be pretty raw.

But I do love Rob.
