Pioneer DVJ-X1

Although it was announced awhile back, it's still pretty damn cool and deserving of a post.

Basically this thing is a Pioneer 1000 beefed up so that you can manipulate DVD-video the same way you would audio! That means your music and visuals are in perfect sync!

I've been playing with this thing a bit lately. It's pretty damn sweet but still hella expensive. Now all they need is a DJM600 version for video mixing and editing on the fly.

I hate to say this but it's the way of the future. Give it another 5 years and Vinyl "WILL" be obsolete. I've heard from several different R&D departments from various dj maufacturers that they are not wasting anytime on developing future truntables and or Vinyl players. Technics is working on a hybrid but that's about it.
