Tiesto is the most popular DJ in the world because he used to kick so much ass back 2000-20001. Here are some of my favs from back then:

It was great until it got overplayed to the extreme, sadly. Nowadays a DJ can't even be caught with it in their record bag/cd wallet/MP3 library without getting odd looks from his or her peers.

PS: The remix of Flesh was better. ;P

He was overrated back then too.

Back then Oakenfold was all teh shit.... Now it seems everybody's realized that he sucks. Oakie used to be good on the production (Actual producing and distributing...) front in the 90s... he managed to get out such names as Jon of the Pleased Wimmin and Minds of Men among others... all kinds of tasty Perfecto names....

Then he got recognized as a trance DJ and it was all downhill from there.
