Opinion on how this might sound...

Suppose I had Smack My Bitch Up by the Prodigy and Give The Drummer Some by The Ultramagnetic MC's (source of the sample "change my pitch up, smack my bitch up").
Now suppose I sampled that same sample and did some playing around with Sound Forge Acid and Fruity Loops to make about 30-40 seconds of insane sample/cut-up type deal.
Now suppose I started a mix with Give The Drummer some, and right when Kool Keith lays down that vocal, bring in the sampled/attacked version, and as the sampled attacked version completes, bring in Smack My Bitch Up at the same sample.

Can anyone envision that being pretty killer?

Try it.

That's the only way you'll really know.

I know i think of doing alot of things like that, and I think they'll sound really cool, but they end up not working at all.

I also find that some of the best things i make are done completely on the fly, off the top of my head.
