there are many ways to read music on manuscript...
one way is to memorize the intervals inbetween the lines... on the treble clef, starting with d on the bottom.... f,a,c,e on the lines.... middle c on treble clef to the 1st line which is e then g,b,d,f best way to learn all this shit is going to tom lee or ward music and buying the 1st rudiments of theory... you'll cover alot of things you'll need to know when dealing with music... but it is also recommended that you understand an instrument to i believe the grade 4 level.. since it will make things alot easier. |

^ tab is different from sheet music. it looks similair but for guitar its got 6 lines and for bass 4 representing each string of the intrument, instead of the notes it shows you where to place your fingers on the bridge ( which string and fret) it also tells u how long to sustain each note and other thing such as licks and slides ect ect. you can find your fav songs in TAB on the internet and in guitar mags so you can learn to play them if you dont know how to read actual music leg. Or so make sure ur chords are right ect.
