i really like soundtracks where most of it is music specifically written for the film. usually instrumental.

Donnie Darko had a great soundtrack. I also liked the soundtracks for School of Rock and the Crow. There's lots more, I'm sure, just can't think of em now.

best soundtrack was "superfly." the album was done by curtis mayfield, and had songs like "pushermaman" and "superfly."
