i am going to be a dj
i am getting tables and a mixer for christmas so that i can be a dj.
i am really good at beat matching and stuff, so i know that i will be a good dj. i like all rave music and can not decide which one to spin, maybe you guys can help me pick a cool type of music. i want to get booked a lot for raves, cuz i think that would be fun. after christmas when i buy all my records i am going to ask azim if i can play at the twisted new years show, and i am also going to ask mark if i can play at his new years show too, so no matter what party you are at you will get to her me spin. i will also sign autographs and shake hands after all my sets. thanks for the support. So you want to be a DJ!!!!!????????
I have one question for you.......WHY? I think that before anybody decides that they want to be a DJ they should really look at the reason(s) that they want to. Do you have asperations of becoming huge? Do you just want to play at home? Do you think that it's the cool thing to do? Did you know that vinyl costs madd amounts of $$$$$$$$? Don't forget about replacing needles, that costs alot too! I've been in the game for three years now and I've spent an easy $6000 on records and all that stuff. It's also hard to get to play. There are so many people mixing now. Let me tell you, from experience, to really be a DJ the road is long and hard. But if all you want to do is just jam than by all means spin whatever groove gets you groovin'. But be wary, these days anybody can get a set of tables, anybody can beatmatch (it's so easy) and anybody can buy records, but not everybody can play and not everybody has what it takes to capture an audience. I just wanted to let you know. Please let me know what you think :Keebler:
