As far as I'm concerned, "Oldschool" is either a subgenre of D&B or Hip Hop. Usually you're talking the DNB variety if spelt with a k.
And Oldschool lost meaning some time around 96, best I can guess.
Steve Thomas and the like made NuNRG before they made Hard House. And if you really want to categorize "Oldschool Hard House" as something, there's a ton that was coming out of Chicago long before the Hoover-driven Klubbheads stuff was coming out. And it's actually different than the HH everybody listens to today.
