Electropop type stuff. Kinda like The Postal Service, but the vocalist is somewhere between New Order and VNV Nation. Also they have some cool orchestrations instrumentalities in there as well.

Very neat stuff. I was just listening to their Wet From Birth album and recommend it. After one listen over, Paranoiattack has grabbed my attention, as have How Could I Forget and I Disappear.

As I say, I've just recently downloaded them, and I'm really liking....

Heh. Glass Danse is one of the songs I checked off as a 5-star song, which means it really grabbed me pretty much right off the bat.

From Danse Macabre I also like The Conductor and Violent a lot.

I'm trying out one of their earlier albums right now (Blank Wave Arcade) and so far, 2 songs into it, it's not as good as the other two.... but like I said.... I'm only 2 songs into it.

the faint fucking rule it. their unique style of beat producing with the instruments they use is a refreshing change. "wet from birth" is a VERY good cd. has lots of variety and i like most of the songs. i disappear, southern belles, paranoia attack, etc .. very hot. i like their older stuff too, poisin spill, conductor etc but their newest cd is a lot more professional sounding i found.

I dare say their latest album has a sincere hint of VNV Nation in it compared to the others.... Very cool.

So far, yeah, I'm finding myself agreeing with you GoodFlow.... Though Danse Macabre is also pretty brilliant as well.

Two thumbs up... I wouldn't so much make the comparison to Postal Service though.... I dunno, I get more a male fronted Le Tigre vibe....

Who knows and who cares, all I know for sure is that I really enjoy them. Wet from Birth is amazing but Media is also a REALLY good album.

So, after the lights go up and everybody's packing up and leaving at the Anza Club last night, I start rattling off Paranoiattack. Just shouting out "Paranoia! Paranoia!"

Immediately I get "The Faint RULES!" from the girl walking by me. Then the really high guy who was flailing all around starts singing the rest of the song.

I feel so out of touch or something. But I'm still digging this stuff. I couldn't listen to any on the way back from Van because I passed off the CD to a friend who'd never heard of them. I said "Yarr" because I was being all pirate-like.
