If it takes more than 2 words to describe and ends in "core", I give you 90:1 odds Doom will like it.

sounds like it has the makings of 'the worst music known to man!'

there ought to be an award made especially for it, if so

Sounds like you're an idiot.

Go listen to the Matrix sountrack and rave it up in your living room to "nu-skool breakz".

It's all on CD. Unfortunately the first 10 CD's are illegal to sell or produce in japan due to some sort of weird copyright infringement crap.

if you can give me one good reason that any genre ending in 'core' has any musical worth whatsoever, then maybe I'll shut up about how much I hate it... until then, I say it's nothing more than irritating hoovers with over-amped kick drums and occasionally some stupid vocals about stupid shit, all set at a rediculous bpm speed so that people who listen to it will think they're "tough" cuz they can "handle" it

I know the mentality and I know the ideals this music represents and it's all fake bullshit... listen to your music because it sounds good, not cuz you think it makes you a tough guy ;)

Eh, no. I used to think that way too. Solution: hit a good hardcore party. I had the luck to drop by Skullfuck. I hate to sound obsessive, but that party revitalized the way I look at hardcore and its relatives. Now 140BPM feels slow as molasses and boring, unless the DJ is spinning some exceptional tracks.

First off... I play Happy Hardcore. It's not ment in the least to make me "look tough". I play this cause it's fun music. Usualy towards the end of my sets, I start droping Gabber. It adds for a good contrast.

There are no bad genres. Just bad producers & DJs... I'm so sick of fucking saying this...

Yes so simply said and true. When I hear a really good hard track I just want more, and more. That must be the testosterone, because I wanna be tough eh.
