60 in a hour is possible, but the quick mixes aren't gonna be proper, how clean can the mixes be? to do a proper, quick, super clean cut you gotta mix till at least mid-breakdown...sure you can cue up at bar points and cut the other track at first break down, but how clean is it gonna sound? honestly,in a hour of quick, properly executed cuts, you can fit about 30 tracks, sure you can mix
tracks fast, but what if they don't sound super clean? what good is that? my own opinion..of course...I'll cue up records either in 10 -15 secs, or at the proper quick cut point depending... play the mid-breakdown with the first breakdown on new record together, play that mid breakdown till the end, and cut before the treble kicks on the new record... now that's a clean, quick cut...I might still be a bedroom Dj, but I've learned alot from Andy C's mixes,When I debut...I ain't gonna debut a beginner, I'm gonna debut with polished skills and quality mixes. Booyah, respect.
Andy C, Nightlife 2, quick mixes done proper. Check it out...
